Compressors in the higher capacity range need some form of capacity control to accommodate varying
refrigeration load. The capacity control kit supplied by DWM will reduce the refrigeration capacity along
with a similar proportional reduction in Power Input. This ensures optimum performance even in part load.
Capacity control is also required when the condensing pressure falls with a drop in ambient air temperature.
The compressor suction condition, refrigerant volume and mass flow rate will remain unchanged.
Small 2-cylinder semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors for medium/low temperature refrigeration and transport applications. These compressors are designed on the principle of standard reed valve type technology and feature an internal oil pump that guarantees optimum reliability in all operating conditions. The K-series ranges from 0.5 to 2 hp and the L-series from 2 to 5 hp with a displacement of 4 to 22.5 m3/h.
