The D3.1E9 is a high-efficiency, ceiling-suspended evaporator unit engineered specifically for deep-freeze storage spaces down to -35 °C. Powered by dual 300 mm low-temperature external rotor fans, the unit moves a high air volume of 4400 m³/h (2*2200 m³/h) with a powerful 10-meter air throw. This dual-fan configuration provides broader, more uniform air distribution than single-fan units, ensuring that there are no stagnant warm pockets in your frozen food lockers, blast-freezer prep zones, or medical storage facilities.
At extreme sub-zero temperatures, frost accumulation on evaporator coils is rapid and aggressive. The D3.1E9 addresses this with an extra-wide 9.0 mm fin pitch (3 FPI) and a staggered copper tube layout. The inner-grooved copper tubes dramatically increase internal surface area for superior heat transfer, while the wide fin gaps allow significant frost to build up before blocking airflow. This design keeps the unit running longer between defrost cycles, drastically reducing temperature fluctuations and overall energy consumption.
In a deep-freeze environment, a failing defrost cycle leads to immediate system failure. The D3.1E9 features a robust 3.5 kW electric defrost system with high-grade stainless steel heating elements installed in both the coil block and the drip pan. This dual-zone heating ensures that melted frost is fully evacuated through the 1" drain port before it can refreeze. Built with a corrosion-resistant pre-painted steel housing and aluminum internal tube sheets, each unit is factory pressure-tested to 2.8 MPa to guarantee a leak-free operational life.
