Product Overview
WQ-290 is a non-film-forming, hard styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion specifically developed for water-based overprint varnishes and printing inks. When used in varnish formulations, this product offers fast drying, high gloss, excellent water resistance, and outstanding anti-blocking properties. It also exhibits good compatibility with widely used acrylic polymers in the market.
As this product does not form a film on its own, it must be combined with an appropriate coalescing agent or blended with a film-forming acrylic emulsion of finer particle size. Additionally, WQ-290 demonstrates strong pigment wetting capabilities in both flexographic and gravure ink systems.
