Epoxy coatings are formulated based upon the performance requirements for the end product. When properly catalyzed and applied, epoxies produce a hard, chemical and solvent resistant finish. They are typically used on metal and steel to give resistance to water, alkali and acids.
WL-172is a high solids, VOC compliant, single component chassis paint and underbody coating specially formulated to permanently stop automotive and truck corrosion without the use of primers or topcoats.

3, Product Properties:
Excellent anticorrosion performance, especially for the preparation of anti-rust base coating;
Fast drying speed, good hardness;
Excellent salt fog-spray resistance and early water resistance:
Good storage stability;
Excellent shear stability, can be grinded with dispersions directly.
4, Instructions:
WL-172A can be diluted with deionized water or lower alcohol or alcohol ethe* to white emulsion. It can be dried by oxidation cross-linking addingoily/water driers at normal temperature or low-temperature baking. The oily driers need to be diluted by the solvent such as butyl alcohol or ethanolfor use.
The water dispersion of WL-172A is stable at neutral or slight alkaline conditions pH value has to be carefully observed in coating production sinceprecipitation may occur if acidic pigments like carbon black are used in the system. PH value of the coating system can always be adjusted
triethylamine or N, N-dimthylethanolamine. Viscosity of the dispersion will increase as the PH value increases.

Air-drying or low temperature baking antirust coatings.
