Advantages of resin bond for diamond grinding (why it’s used)
Better surface finish: resin bonds often produce a smoother ground surface.
Less chipping: the bond is less brittle, so it can reduce edge/grain-out chipping on brittle workpieces.
Good control in finishing passes: helpful when you need consistent geometry.
Damping effect: resin can reduce harsh vibration compared with very stiff bonds.
