The CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) Sharpening Wheel is engineered for high-precision broach grinding applications where hardness and wear resistance are critical. CBN abrasive grains possess a Knoop hardness of approximately 4700 kg/mm², second only to diamond, ensuring minimal grain blunting and exceptional shape retention over extended grinding cycles.
This 1A1 resin bond CBN wheel features a 127mm diameter with 120/140 mesh grit, optimized for finishing and semi-finishing operations on high-speed steel (HSS) broaches. The resin bond formulation provides excellent self-sharpening characteristics while maintaining controlled material removal rates. Compatible with standard tool and cutter grinders equipped with 31.75mm arbor.
