150mm 6A2 Resin Bond Diamond Cup Wheel 100 Grit For Ferrite Magnetic Core Grinding
Shine Abrasives 6A2 resin bond diamond cup wheels are engineered for face grinding of magnetic materials such as soft ferrite cores, hard ferrite blocks and sintered magnetic components. The wheel body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and balanced to G2.5, so the cup wheel runs true on high-speed spindles and keeps a flat working face through long production runs.
Key advantages
Special raw materials and controlled process: selected high-purity synthetic diamond abrasive is combined with a proprietary phenolic resin bond and processed under a staged curing curve, which gives a uniform abrasive distribution and a predictable bond wear rate.
Sharp cutting with long service life: the exposed diamond layer stays free-cutting throughout the working life of the wheel, so the wheel keeps removing ferrite at a steady rate while the total cost per part drops and dressing frequency is reduced.
Stable continuous grinding: consistent bond hardness and a rigid hub keep wheel form and face flatness stable, which makes the cup wheel suitable for continuous runs on automated and CNC grinding lines with repeatable surface finish.

Applications
Face grinding and surface grinding of soft ferrite cores, hard ferrite plates and blocks, magnetic rings and sintered magnetic parts; also used for flat grinding of magnetic assemblies before lapping.
Recommended working conditions
Wheel speed 25-35 m/s, coolant flow 8-12 L/min, down feed 0.02-0.05mm per pass. First use requires a light truing pass with a silicon carbide stick to expose the diamond layer.
Other diameters, grit sizes, rim widths and bore sizes are available on request. Please send your magnetic material grade, part size and tolerance requirement, and Shine Abrasives will recommend the matching specification.
