PPS Fortron 1120L4 is a 20% glass fiber reinforced injection molding grade exhibiting excellent heat and chemical resistance, inherent flame retardancy, high hardness and stiffness at elevated temperatures.
Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a high-temperature thermoplastic material that offers an excellent combination of thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance properties.
PPS is inherently flame resistant and is virtually unaffected by a broad range of chemicals, even over prolonged periods and at elevated temperatures. Linear PPS is a second-generation product that offers easy processing, excellent lot-to-lot consistency and high strength and toughness.
The Fortron® PPS chemical structure provides excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Insoluble in all known solvents below 200°C (392°F), it has very good stability in both typical and alternative automotive fuels.
