Veradel 3000P, 3100P, 3200P, 3400P, and 3600P are powdered polyethersulfone (PESU) materials designed for dissolution or dispersion into solutions. These grades vary in molecular weight, with 3000P having the highest and 3600P the lowest molecular weight, directly correlating with solution viscosity.
PESU exhibits excellent toughness and hydrolysis resistance, withstanding steam, boiling water, and inorganic acid attacks. The resulting film or coating is transparent and offers long-term thermal stability, excellent metal adhesion, formability, and intrinsic flame retardancy.
Common applications include high-temperature coating formulations, films, advanced high-temperature resistant composite materials, and specialty adhesives.
Veradel® HC PESU is specifically formulated for high-performance healthcare applications. The material is inherently flame retardant and highly resistant to a wide range of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting agents.
