DURADEX PPSU D-3000 Characteristics, ultra-high toughness , good dimensional stability , electron beam sterilization , radio-permeable , radiation sterilization , high ESCR (resistance to stress cracking) , autoclave sterilization , good disinfection , sterilization by ethylene oxide , resistance to gamma radiation , good electrical properties , good resistance to heat aging , good resistance to chemicals , resistance to alkalis , heat resistance , high resistance to acids , resistance to detergents . Steam resistant , good thermal stability , heat sterilization , biocompatible , hydrolytically stable , general purpose , sterilized with steam , flame retardant.
Radel D-3000 is a polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) material with excellent hydrolytic stability and toughness, well suited for the production of high flow lengths and thin walled parts, superior to many commercial high temperature engineering resins. It has a high deflection temperature and excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking. The polymer is inherently flame retardant.
