Product Description:


The SSMA RF connector ( mini SMA) is a miniaturized thread-coupled RF coaxial connector, a compact variant of the SMA RF connector, engineered for high-frequency millimeter-wave applications and high-density mounting requirements.

Coupling Method & Impedance: Adopts 10-36 UNS fine-pitch thread locking; the standard characteristic impedance is 50Ω.
Operating Frequency: The conventional upper limit is 18GHz, while the optimized MSSM model from Elite Electronics can reach 40GHz – far exceeding the 18GHz of standard SMA connectors, making it ideal for millimeter-wave systems.
Electrical & Mechanical Performance: With a withstand voltage of approximately 750V and insulation resistance ≥1000MΩ; features low contact resistance for center/outer conductors (typically ≤5mΩ for the center conductor and ≤2.5mΩ for the outer conductor); the typical mating durability is 500 cycles; the operating temperature range is generally from -40°C to +125°C.
Construction & Materials: Occupies approximately 70% of the volume of an SMA connector; the center contact is mostly gold-plated copper alloy, the insulator is commonly PTFE, and the housing is gold-plated copper alloy or stainless steel, balancing excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. In addition, Elite Electronics also offers SSMA RF Connectors with rated waterproof and hermetic sealing performance.
Mounting Configurations: Available in a variety of forms including straight/right-angle types, flange-mount, PCB solder, and cable crimp versions.
