These miniature, threaded, and waterproof RF connectors maintain a consistent 50-ohm impedance and are designed to operate within the DC-11 GHz frequency range. There are two main types of TNC connectors: standard and reverse polarity. Constructed primarily from die-cast and molded components, these cost-effective connectors are well-suited for a broad spectrum of commercial applications, although their performance may not match that of industrial or high-performance grade products. TNC connectors are widely used in avionics, communications, and various general industrial sectors. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75-ohm versions of the TNC connector are also available.
