The JOVVI Large-Format MRI Observation Window provides an expansive viewing area of 2.4m × 0.9m, offering superior visibility for facilities requiring unobstructed patient observation during scanning procedures. The larger viewing area enhances operator confidence and enables more effective patient monitoring, particularly valuable for pediatric, elderly, or anxious patients who may require visual reassurance during scanning.
This window achieves 100–110 dB RF attenuation across the MRI frequency range (10 MHz–130 MHz), compatible with all standard clinical MRI systems including 1.5T and 3.0T scanners. The 98.5% transparency ensures crisp, clear visibility through the shielding mesh, with the black mesh coating minimizing visual artifacts and improving the patient experience.
The construction features a laminated glass structure with brass mesh shielding between the glass layers. The 5mm tempered glass and 8mm insulating hollow glass combination provides excellent acoustic insulation, reducing the transmission of scanner noise to the control room. The larger viewing area allows multiple staff members to observe the patient simultaneously during complex scanning protocols.
This large-format window is particularly suitable for busy imaging centers, teaching hospitals, research facilities, and applications where the scanner room layout positions the window at a distance from the scanner bore.
