Its multi-rate engine covers every hierarchy from 1.5 Mb/s T1 to STM-16 / OC-48, while SmartTest automation and mixed-payload recognition slash on-site setup time to a few key-presses. Dual-wavelength optical heads (1310/1550 nm) and comprehensive electrical interfaces let engineers qualify line cards, muxes or full rings without external converters. ITU-T and Telcordia-aligned jitter generation/analysis, plus remote control over LAN, GPIB or RS-232, keep lab accuracy and factory throughput high.
