How about trisodium phosphate metal cleaner

1.Strong alkaline decontamination

After dissolving in water, it forms a high pH environment (pH≈12), which can saponify oils and decompose organic dirt. It is especially suitable for cleaning heavy oil stains, industrial oil stains and polishing paste residues.

Compared with common alkali agents: Its oil-removing ability is better than that of soda ash (Na₂CO₃), but weaker than that of sodium hydroxide (it needs to be combined with a surfactant to enhance the effect).

2. Passivation of the metal surface

After cleaning, a phosphate protective film is formed on the surface of metals (such as steel and aluminum) for short-term rust prevention (it needs to be thoroughly washed with subsequent water to avoid residue).

3. Disperse suspended dirt

Prevent the peeled oil stains from reattaching and improve the cleaning efficiency.

4. Industrial metal cleaning
Pre-treatment for electroplating/spraying: Remove grease and oxide layers from the metal surface to enhance the adhesion of the coating.

Mechanical equipment maintenance and cleaning: Cleaning heavily oil-stained components such as engine parts, bearings, and molds.

Pipe descaling: After acid washing (such as hydrochloric acid), neutralize the residual acid solution to prevent corrosion.

Common combinations:

Trisodium dihydrate phosphate + surfactant (such as OP-10) + sodium silicate → low-cost metal cleaner.

Trisodium 12-water phosphate + sodium hexametaphosphate → enhances hard water adaptability and dispersibility.
