CD insulation weld pins are commonly used to attach blanket insulation to ducts, ovens, boilers and hot/cold equipment.
The CD weld pins work with a stud welding machine, weld the pins on the sheet metal, The pins are welded in place, the insulation impaled over the pin and then self locking washers are installed over the pin to secure the insulation.
