The auto CNC polishing machine turns zinc alloy castings from "the hardest part of the plating prep line" into a one-pass, repeatable process.
Real-time pressure compensation: ZAMAK castings often exhibit significant dimensional variations; force control adjusts contact pressure every millisecond, preventing over-polishing of localized excess material on the relatively soft alloy.
Controlled temperature: Spindle speed is synchronized with the feed rate, allowing frictional heat to be managed effectively—eliminating surface blackening and blistering.
Programmed consistency: Surface inconsistencies prior to plating are the primary cause of color variation; programmed polishing ensures every workpiece meets the "standard part" specification, significantly boosting the electroplating yield rate.
Automated loading/unloading: Small parts can be fed via vibratory bowls or feed tracks, with automatic unloading and counting; one operator can manage 2-3 machines.
Quick-change fixtures & program library: Supports mixed-line production of dozens of small zinc alloy parts, with changeover times of less than 10 minutes.
