Door handles represent one of the most challenging components in architectural hardware to polish consistently. Unlike flat plates or round fittings, lever handles combine multiple complex geometries:

Our fully automatic robotic polishing machine is engineered specifically for door handle geometries. The robotic system follows the handle's contours with precisely controlled contact force, ensuring the curved neck receives the same finish quality as the flat grip face.
This eliminates the transition zone issues where manual polishing often leaves waves, flat spots, or burn marks. The result is a plating-ready surface, consistently reproduced part after part, shift after shift.
Most rejects in door hardware production occur not in the plating tank, but during the polishing stage:
Neck Transition Complexity: Where the grip curves into the rosette or mortise base, the polishing wheel continuously changes contact angle. Manual operators compensate by feel, leading to inconsistent results between operators and throughout shifts.
Material Variation Challenges: Zinc alloy handles feature parting lines and gate residue with inconsistent heights. Fixed-pressure automation over-polishes some parts while under-polishing others. Compliant contact, not rigid contact, is required.
