This 500kg heavy duty linear track is a synchronized robot linkage that carries a six-axis arm along a customized length of rail for CNC loading, palletizing and picking. Running at 100-1000mm/s with 1000mm/s2 acceleration and +/-0.05mm repeat positioning, it keeps part transfer precise and repeatable even when the arm travels between distant stations. The stroke is built to the requested length so it fits the cell rather than the other way around.
A machined steel body with a 1:10 reduction drive provides the stiffness and torque needed for heavy duty motion, while a three phase 380V supply powers the axis. As an external robot axis the track is coordinated with the robot controller, so the arm and the rail move as one system. This makes the linear track a practical way to raise throughput on CNC loading and palletizing cells without adding a second robot.
The heavy duty linear track is planned around the CNC or palletizing cell it will serve. We confirm payload, robot model, required stroke and cycle time, then size the drive and reduction ratio so the track and arm move as one coordinated external axis. Because the rail uses standard guide, rack and drag-chain components, spares are easy to source and the modular body can be adapted as the line changes. Adjustable plates and clear origin referencing simplify commissioning, and the customized length means the track fits the cell rather than the other way around.
