The GBS-01-W500 is a 500kg payload 7th axis linear rail designed for welding, material handling and machine tending automation. Running at 100-1000mm/s with 1000mm/s2 acceleration and +/-0.05mm repeat positioning, it lets one arm serve several stations along a modular rail. The lightweight aluminium-bodied carriage and rigid base keep motion stable while the 1:10 reduction drive provides the torque for reliable, repeatable travel.
A three phase 380V supply powers the axis, and Class H insulation adds thermal headroom for demanding duty. Mounted level, the linear rail integrates with the robot controller as an external seventh axis, so the arm and rail move together. This makes the 7th axis linear rail an economical way to expand a single cell's working envelope for welding, handling and machine tending without adding robots.
The linear rail is configured around the cell it will equip. We confirm payload, robot model, required stroke and cycle time, then size the drive and reduction ratio so the 7th axis and arm run as one coordinated system.
