The GBS-01-W1500 liner guide rail is a modular additional axis that gives collaborative and industrial robots extra mobility along the floor. Its high-strength alloy structure is machined for a straight, rigid guide path, so a 1500kg payload keeps +/-0.05mm repeat positioning as it travels. Because the travel length is customized to the requested stroke, the liner guide rail can be matched to the exact workstation, cell or line it must serve.
A 1:10 reduction drive moves the carriage at 100-1500mm/s with 1200mm/s2 acceleration, giving smooth starts and stops for handling, picking and welding motions. The additional robot axis is designed for easy integration with common controller families, expanding a fixed arm into a long-reach, floor-level manipulator without buying a larger robot. The linear motion system is built for repeatable, dust-tolerant duty and simple field maintenance.
The liner guide rail is configured around the robot it will carry. We confirm payload, robot model, required stroke and cycle time, then size the drive and reduction ratio so the additional axis matches the motion profile of the arm. Because the rail uses standard guide and drive components, spare sliders, racks and drag chains are easy to obtain, and the modular body can be extended or shortened as a cell layout changes. For a collaborative or industrial robot that must cover more than one station, this is an economical way to add floor-level mobility without buying a second arm.
