The CNGBS GBS-01-W500 is a robotic 7th axis ground rail that turns a KUKA or FANUC six-axis arm into a traveling line robot. Rated for a 500kg payload, it runs at 500-1500mm/s with 1000mm/s2 acceleration and +/-0.05mm repeat positioning, so the robot can serve several stations along one rail without losing accuracy. The 1:10 reduction drive and external-axis control suit coordinated motion with the robot controller.
The rail body is a machined steel structure that keeps the guide surfaces straight and parallel over a modular, customizable stroke. A three phase 380V supply powers the axis, and the 900kg base provides a stable platform for material handling and welding duty. Treated as the robot's seventh axis, the ground rail lets a single cell handle long workpieces and multiple machine positions with one arm and one controller.
The ground rail is planned around the arm it will carry. We confirm payload, robot model, required stroke and cycle time, then match the drive and reduction ratio so the 7th axis and robot move as one coordinated system. Standard guide, rack and drag-chain components keep spares easy to source, and the modular body can be extended as a line grows. Levelling plates and clear origin referencing make commissioning straightforward.
