Hydraulic compactors on solid ground
The hydraulic compactors are an ideal machine for applications where the task is to compact soil on slopes or in confined places where self-moving plates or rollers cannot operate. How does a hydraulic plate compactor work?
The hydraulic motor generates immense force, allowing those driving the plate compactor to exert significant pressure onto the ground surface. This force and pressure is transmitted through the heavy-duty plate at the base of the compactor, creating powerful vibrations that penetrate the material being compacted
What is the purpose of a plate compactor?
A plate compactor uses a large steel plate to get rid of air pockets in various ground materials and provide tighter compaction. They work on rough and uneven ground, to flatten it and create a level grade. Commonly, this will be soil, sand, hardcore, gravel, asphalt and similar.
