The R32 45mm button bit is designed for drifting and tunneling applications, representing one of our most popular rock drill bits. Available in configurations with either 9 or 7 carbide button tips, these bits come in two main variants: spherical button drill bits and ballistic button bits, distinguished by their button shape.
Spherical button drill bits are the industry standard for rock drilling. When used with hydraulic rock drills providing sufficient impact power, they deliver superior energy efficiency. The spherical carbide buttons offer exceptional strength and wear resistance, resulting in optimal rock breaking performance.
Our R32 spherical button drill bits provide excellent penetration performance in medium-hard rock, hard rock, and various other rock formations.
