Seamless pipes are manufactured by piercing a solid steel billet and then hot or cold working it to the desired size and shape.
Common stainless steel grades used for seamless pipes include 304, 316, 310, 904L, and duplex grades.
Seamless construction eliminates potential leak points and weaknesses associated with welded seams.
Seamless pipes have better fatigue life, burst strength, and collapse resistance compared to welded pipes.
