Hub Units: Hub units, also known as cartridge bearings or sealed hub assemblies, are a more modern design. They integrate the bearing, seal, and hub flange into a single unit. Hub units are pre-lubricated and sealed, requiring no maintenance or adjustment during their service life. When a hub unit fails, it is typically replaced as a complete assembly.
