It is used to determine the melt flow rate (MFR) value of various plastics and resins in the viscous flow state. It is applicable to engineering plastics with high melting temperatures such as polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluoroplastics, and nylon. It is also applicable to the testing of plastics with relatively low melting points such as polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), ABS resin, polyoxymethylene (POM), and polycarbonate (PC) resin. It is widely used in plastic production, plastic products, petrochemicals and other industries, as well as related colleges and universities, research institutions and commodity inspection departments.
The melt flow rate tester is applicable to the determination of the melt mass flow rate of thermoplastics specified in the national standard "GB/T3682-2000 Determination of Melt Mass Flow Rate and Melt Volume Flow Rate of Thermoplastics", which is equivalent to ISO 1133. In accordance with the provisions of 1997, it can also meet the ASTM D1238 test standard.
