Scope of application

These requirements cover all roof materials exposed to simulated fires on the exterior of buildings, which are used for installation on combustible or non-combustible substrates. The fire resistance performance of the roof and components is evaluated under simulated real conditions, and the grade AC of the samples is determined under the conditions of A1.82m, B 2.4m and C 3.9m. It can also be applied to the flame retardant performance test of photovoltaic cell modules.

Performance parameters

Plywood roof covering material, with dimensions of 1,300(W) × 1,000(D) × 120(H), is used for installing test samples;
The non-combustible test board, installed at the end of the test board, can prevent the occurrence of backfire beneath the test board.
Stainless steel sector adjustment plate, with adjustable test Angle, dimensions: 1,440(L) x 940(H) mm;
Non-combustible board assembly, installed at the front end of the frame, simulates eaves and cornices, extends the flame from the burner to the sample, with dimensions of: 330(W) x 2,130(D) x 584(H) mm;
Independent exhaust ducts are provided to draw air from outside the laboratory.
A honeycomb filter screen is installed in the air duct, and guide vanes are installed at the gas inlet.
The ventilation duct is equipped with a slope adjustment panel to adjust the direction of air flow.
The ventilation duct is equipped with a guide plate, which can increase the wind speed to ensure that the airflow supplying the test plate is not disturbed by the outside. The guide plate is made of stainless steel and its position does not change with the variation of wind pressure.
The material of the air duct is made of stainless steel, which is anti-corrosive and heat-resistant. The dimensions are: 2,130(W) x 762(H) x 3,000(L) mm.
The fan is 220V, 50HZ, three-phase power supply, equipped with a reverse system that can automatically adjust the wind speed, and the flow rate is 300m ³ /min.
Stepless speed regulator, adjustable from 0 to 100%;
Gas burner (for intermittent ignition, flame spread and flying flame tests), 1.12m long, 60.3mm in diameter, with a slit of 12.7mm(wide)*0.91m(long) on the side facing the test board;
The gas burner can provide 22,000Btu/min(387kWh) and automatically adjust the gas flow rate according to three combustion grades: A, B, and C.
A thermocouple is installed 58.7mm at the top of the burner, which can test a temperature of 888±28℃.
The automatic ignition system ensures the safety performance of the test, and the ignition electrode has a high voltage of 1.8kVp mass flow controller.

Class C:704±28℃(1300 ±50℉)-18,000 to 19,000 Btu/min (316 to 334 kWh) provided for each gas burner, different testing and control methods must be followed;
High-precision pressure gauges and pressure regulating valves control gas pressure.

The metal mesh supports the materials, and the tray can rotate to facilitate the complete combustion of the materials.
