The 20 W Desktop Type Spray UV Aging Test Chamber simulates sun and rain damage to materials. Using UV lamps to replicate sunlight effects and a water spray system to simulate rain, this equipment tests materials in controlled environments with changing light and humidity conditions. Testing periods of days or weeks can replicate damage that typically occurs over months or years outdoors.
Common damage types include fading, discoloration, light loss, powdering, cracking, haze, base blisters, embrittlement, strength reduction, and oxidation.
This chamber utilizes UV lamps to simulate solar effects and a water spray system to replicate rainfall. Typical test cycles involve UV radiation at high temperatures followed by 100% humidity in dark conditions. Commonly used for testing paint and coatings, automotive components, plastic products, wood products, adhesives, and similar materials.

Material durability damage is primarily caused by solar ultraviolet radiation. Our UV lamps simulate the short-wave ultraviolet spectrum of sunlight with minimal visible or infrared spectral energy. Different UV lamp wavelengths are available based on testing requirements.
Temperature can be precisely controlled at set values throughout each cycle, with board monitoring via thermometer. Higher temperatures accelerate aging processes while ensuring test reproducibility.
Water spray simulation better replicates end-use environmental conditions, effectively mimicking temperature fluctuations and rainfall-induced thermal shock or mechanical erosion. The system features 12 nozzles (6 per test chamber side) that can operate for minutes then shut down, rapidly cooling samples and creating thermal shock conditions.
Optional light intensity control enables precise, reproducible results. This system allows setting different intensity requirements for various tests and extends fluorescent lamp lifespan through precise feedback loop control.
