Product Overview
The digital torque speed and power display instrument serves as the secondary instrument of the dynamometer. It connects directly with the dynamometer to display torque, speed, and output power of the tested motor. It can also interface with the dynamometer controller to generate characteristic curves for the motor under evaluation.
Machine Structure Principle
The brake is driven by the motor under test to rotate. When excitation current is applied to the brake, the inner and outer stators apply braking torque to the motor through the rotor. Simultaneously, micro deflection of the brake causes the torque sensor to generate micro strain, converting the torque signal. The rotational speed signal is converted by the rotational speed sensor. The digital torque and rotational speed display instrument shows measured values on respective displays, while output power is computed by the microcomputer and displayed.
The torque sensor features a cantilever beam with variable cross-section. Four foil strain gauges form a bridge circuit, complemented by a foil strain gauge and two thermistors for temperature and gauge coefficient error compensation. A zero-adjust potentiometer ensures zero output when the bridge is unloaded. All components are integrated on the torque sensor's circuit board, which is mounted on the bearing sleeve of the outer stator and secured with elastic clamp ring fixing screws.
