 430 Stainless Steel Coil Sheet Strips UNS S43000 Astm A240 overview 

Stainless steel type 1.4016 is also commonly known as grade 430. Stainless steel 430 combines good corrosion resistance with good formability and ductility.

Type 430 is a chromium ferrite stainless steel with moderate corrosion and heat resistance. It is non­hardenable by heat treatment. Type 430 is magnetic and exhibits good ductility. It can be readily formed into many desired shapes.

Type 430Li is a chromium ferritic stainless steel similar to 430, with moderate corrosion and heat resistance. It is non-hardenable by heat treatment, magnetic and can be readily formed into most desired shapes. Type 430Li has low interstitials providing better ductility over regular 430.
