Sand Blasting Machine vapor Blasting Cabinet For The Refurbishment Of Automotive Parts
A manual wet sandblasting machine (also called wet grit blaster, dustless water sandblaster, or aqua blasting cabinet) is a surface treatment device that uses a water-abrasive slurry accelerated by compressed air to clean, finish, or prepare workpieces. It is widely used in metalworking, automotive, aerospace, and precision manufacturing for its dust-free, low-heat, and high-quality surface treatment capabilities.
Working Principle
The core process involves mixing abrasive media (e.g., aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, garnet) with water to form a homogeneous slurry. A high-performance slurry pump circulates the mixture, and compressed air accelerates the slurry through a specialized nozzle at high velocity onto the workpiece surface. The impact and abrasion of the slurry remove rust, paint, oxides, burrs, and contaminants, while water suppresses dust, cools the surface, and lubricates the abrasive to reduce friction and heat. The slurry is often recycled via a closed-loop system, minimizing waste and cost.
