The SXYHX Series Online Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester is a specialized instrument designed to assess the electrical performance of zinc oxide (MOA) surge arresters. It is suitable for both online (live-line) and offline testing of arresters across various voltage classes, enabling the detection of critical defects such as internal moisture ingress and valve plate degradation.
User‑friendly and fully automated, the instrument performs measurements under microprocessor control. It captures key parameters including total current, resistive current, harmonics, voltage frequency, active power, and phase angle. A large real‑time display clearly visualizes voltage and current waveforms.
Equipped with advanced digital waveform analysis, the tester employs harmonic analysis and digital filtering algorithms to ensure accurate and stable readings. It precisely quantifies fundamental and 3rd to 7th harmonic components while effectively eliminating phase‑to‑phase interference, thereby delivering reliable resistive current measurements even under field conditions.
The unit includes a built‑in high‑speed thermal printer and rechargeable batteries for complete portability and convenience. Utilizing high‑speed magnetically isolated digital sensors for direct voltage and current acquisition, the instrument guarantees both data integrity and operational safety.

6. Wireless Communication: Enables wireless data exchange between clamp and host for rapid sampling.
7. Safety-Insulated Pole: 5-meter multi-section insulated pole design ensures convenience and reliability.

13. Analog Three-Phase Testing: Tests A, B, C phases of zinc oxide arresters in three separate tests, with results saved as a single test set.
14. Safety and Reliability: Only weak current flows internally (voltage ≤8.4V); current and voltage sensors are fully isolated for enhanced safety.
15. High-speed Sampling: Featuring high sampling frequency and advanced digital signal processing technology, this device delivers exceptional measurement accuracy with strong anti-interference performance.
16. Built-in Calendar Clock: The integrated calendar clock provides time references for data printing and archiving.
17. Massive Data Storage: Equipped with large-capacity storage for extensive data retention, the device supports both data storage and browsing functions while incorporating power failure protection.
