Testing Applications:

  1. Type testing cable samples to meet the requirements of major international standards (I.e., IEC, IEEE, IPCEA, AEIC, VDE, EDF).

  2. The inductive heating of cable samples and accessories.

  3. The simultaneous application of DC high voltage, AC high voltage, and impulse voltage stresses to the heated cable.

  4. This combined testing capability is enabled through integrated optional modules or the use of additional apparatus.

Sizing of the System:
For any given application, the appropriate cable rating and design are contingent upon a set of interdependent variables. These include, but are not limited to, the conductor characteristics (type, cross-section), insulation properties (type, thickness), the test cable length, prevailing and target test temperatures, as well as the allocated time for temperature stabilization.

Standard current ratings extend to 6000 Amps to meet high-demand applications.
