High Precision & Wide Range: Delivers exceptional accuracy for turns ratio measurements across an extensive range (e.g., 0.8 to 15000), suitable for virtually all distribution and power transformers.
Fully Automatic Testing: Simply connect the leads and press "Test." The instrument automatically determines the phase, applies the correct test voltage, calculates the ratio, and displays results clearly—minimizing operator error.
Three-Phase & Single-Phase Testing: Capable of measuring single-phase transformers and automatically testing three-phase transformers in various vector groups (Yy, Dd, Yd, Dy, etc.) with sequential results.
Winding Connection Diagnostics: Automatically identifies wiring errors and common transformer faults such as shorted turns, open windings, and incorrect tap changer positions.
Excitation Current Measurement: Measures magnetizing (excitation) current, a key parameter for detecting core and winding issues like inter-turn shorts or core insulation problems.
Phase Angle Measurement: Calculates and displays the phase displacement between voltages, crucial for verifying transformer vector group.
