Undoped pure YAG crystal is a new type of substrate and window material for ultraviolet and infrared optical devices.
YAG crystals have important optical applications in high-temperature and high-energy physical environments.
The application of YAG material:
It has excellent optical and thermodynamic properties. Its mechanical properties and chemical stability are close to that of sapphire crystal, and there is no birefringence effect of sapphire. Pure YAG crystals have a high transmittance in the range of 0.25 ~ 5um and no absorption in the range of 2 ~ 3μm, while glass has a strong H2O absorption band.
