This assembly is a multi-drop SATA connector harness that combines both data and power lines in a single, organized cable set. A single host interface on the PSU or controller side is fanned out to several SATA 7+15-pin connectors, allowing multiple HDDs or SSDs to be powered and linked using one consolidated harness.
Shielded SATA data cables maintain low crosstalk and stable signal integrity at up to 6 Gb/s, while the thicker power wires guarantee reliable 5 V and 12 V delivery to each drive. The compact connectors, pre-crimped terminals, and bundled routing make installation fast and tidy in dense storage bays and narrow server chassis. Custom harness designs are available to match the layout of storage trays, backplanes, and proprietary PCBs.

Precautions
Confirm that the total current of all attached drives is within the PSU rail and harness rating.
Check SATA connector orientation and keying to avoid damage to drive or host ports during insertion.
Do not sharply bend or pinch the red SATA ribbon cables; excessive stress may degrade signal performance.
Keep data cables separated from high-noise power lines or fans whenever possible to minimize interference.
Periodically inspect connectors and wires in high-vibration or high-temperature environments, and replace any harness showing insulation cracks or discolored terminals.
