Production Infomation:

  • Phase change materials (PCM) are substances with high heat of fusion that melt and solidify at a certain temperature and can store and release a large amount of energy.

  • When a material changes from solid to liquid, heat is absorbed or released, and vice versa. Therefore, phase change materials are classified as latent heat storage (LHS) units.

  • Phase change energy storage material that can maintain a constant temperature for 8 to 10 hours.

1. Status changes

  • Depending on the type of phase transition, there is a mutual conversion between solid and liquid (common solid-liquid phase change materials) or between different solid (solid-solid phase change materials).

  • For example, paraffin-like phase change materials change from solid to liquid when the temperature increases above the phase change temperature, and from liquid to solid when the temperature decreases.

2. Volume change

  • During the phase transition process, the volume of the material may undergo a certain change.
