Neutralized Carbomer 941 Gel Dispersed In Water Stable And Non Irritating
Basic product information:
Carbomer 976 is a white and loose powder. It provides long-lasting emulsification and suspension effects under low viscosity conditions, even in ionic systems.
Compared with other types of ripple, it is more effective at low concentrations.
There is a kind of gel with good clarity. It is used as an emulsifying stabilizer in the cosmetics industry, as a binder in solid pharmaceutical formulations, and as a sustained-release agent in the pharmaceutical industry.
Product performance: 1. Appearance
Fluffy, moisture-prone white powder.
It has a slight odor. The pH value of 1% dispersed in water is 3.
2. Solubility
When dissolved in water, alcohol or glycerol, it can be neutralized with alkaline solutions of hydroxides or amines.
3. Identification methods
When the dispersion is neutralized, it will transform into a gel-like substance.
When a 1% concentration dispersion is taken and reacted with thymol blue solution, the mixture will turn orange.
When the same 1% concentration dispersion is used, after reacting with cresol red solution, the mixture will turn yellow.
Dehydration weight loss rate (at 80℃ for 1 hour) : ≤2.0%
Heavy metals: ≤0.002%
Benzene content: ≤0.5%
The content of carboxylic acid groups: 56.0% - 68.0%
