Description:
Hexagon nuts according to the nominal thickness divided into I type, II type and thin three.Nuts of class 8 and above are divided into type I and type II.
Type I hexagon nut is the most widely used, type 1 nut is divided into A, B, C three grades, among which A class and B class nut is suitable for the surface roughness is small, high accuracy requirements of the machine, equipment and structure, and C class nut is used for the surface is relatively rough, accuracy requirements of the machine, equipment or structure;
Type II hexagon nut thickness is thicker, often used in the need to assemble and remove the occasion.
Type I nut refers to the common hexagon nut with the nominal height m≥ 0.8d, and its type size shall meet the requirements of GB/T6170;
The height of type II nut is higher than that of type 1 nut, and the type size shall conform to GB/T6175.The purpose of the type II nut is twofold: one is to increase the height of the nut to obtain a less heat treatment, relatively inexpensive nut.
Since class 8 type I nuts with D≤M16 do not require heat treatment, type 2 nuts are only used for class 8 nuts with D>M16~39 specifications.
