Description:
Cold drawing, cold upsetting or hot forging, stress removal annealing and hot galvanizing are important forming processes for tower bolts. In this paper, the relationship between 6.8 class tower bolt forming process and residual stress distribution in the subsurface layer of the polished bolt rod was studied, as well as the appearance features and corrosion resistance of hot Zn and zn-5al coating layers at different temperatures.The effects of stress removal annealing and hot dip galvanizing on the surface residual stress of cold heading bolt and hot forging bolt were compared.By OM, SEM, EDS, X-ray residual stress analyzer and electropolishing instrument, the distribution of residual stress at different depths of the subsurface layer of 6.8 tower bolt polished rod was studied.The corrosion resistance of Zn and Zn-5Al coating on bolt surface was studied by NSS test and electrochemical polarization test.The results show that there are different residual stress states in the surface layer of bolt making process.Cold drawn
Hex Head Cap screws and hex bolts and machine bolts are threaded fasteners. They are in thick hex-shaped heads.
