Product Information
Open end blind rivets are designed for fastening in a fast and simple way, open end rivets are available in a wide range of materials such as AL.5050, AL.5052, AL.5154, AL.5056, SS304(A2), SUS 316(A4), Steel, copper.
Which provide specific benefits such as joint strength, material compatibility, corrosion resistance and cost. Along the same line, the finishing options are huge from lacquering to the different protective coatings, the customisation possibilities are infinite.
Application
The core rivets are mainly used in cases where only one side has access to the connector. The rivets are placed in a drill hole and are set by pulling the shaft head into the rivet body, expanding the rivet body and expanding it on the back. When the head of the core rod reaches the surface of the blind edge material, the pull is resisted, and at a predetermined force, the core bar breaks at its break point, also known as the blind setting. The tight connection formed by the main body of the rivet remains, and the head of the spindle is still encased on the defect side, although various forms can be used and the spindle stem is ejected.
