ASTM A335 P122 Alloy Steel Pipe is a high-temperature, seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe (chrome-moly) with significant chromium (10-11.5%) and molybdenum, offering excellent strength and resistance for power plants, refineries, and chemical industries, suitable for bending, flanging, and fusion welding, typically requiring final heat treatment like normalization and tempering. It boasts high tensile strength (620 MPa min) and yield strength (440 MPa min), making it ideal for demanding high-pressure, high-temperature applications.

| A New designation established in accordance with Practice E527 and SAE J1086, Practice for Numbering Metals and Alloys (UNS). B Grade P5c shall have a titanium content of not less than 4 times the carbon content and not more than 0.70 %; or a niobium content of 8 to 10 times the carbon content.
