Our VOCs Combined Sampling Tube (¼″ outer diameter × 3½″ length, stainless steel with copper/brass storage caps) is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous requirements of U.S. EPA Compendium Method TO-17 for the determination of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in ambient air.

 

EPA Method TO-17 specifies active sampling of VOCs onto sorbent tubes, followed by thermal desorption and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) analysis. This industry-standard ¼″ × 3½″ format ensures seamless compatibility with all major thermal desorption systems, including PerkinElmer, Markes International, CDS Analytical, Dani, Shimadzu, and domestic thermal desorbers.


Available in multiple sorbent configurations—including single-bed, dual-bed, and multi-bed combinations—our TO-17 compliant sampling tubes deliver exceptional performance for ambient air monitoring, industrial hygiene, soil gas assessment, and regulatory compliance programs worldwide.

  • Combination 2: Carbopack B (30 mm) + Carboxen 1000 (10 mm) – optimized for both volatile and semi-volatile compounds


Triple-Bed Combination (Combination 3)
