Working Principle
When personnel stand on the test pedal and touch the test button, a complete circuit forms between the electrostatic shoes and the test pedal (which is insulated from the floor). The system measures this circuit's resistance. When resistance falls within specified parameters, it confirms proper conductivity of electrostatic footwear and ensures personnel carry safe levels of electrostatic voltage. This prevents damage to precision electronic products from electrostatic discharge when entering controlled areas.
The split foot pedals and single/double loop wrist straps enable simultaneous testing of both feet and hands, providing more comprehensive protection than traditional integrated test methods. The integrated LCD screen delivers faster, more accurate testing with clearly visible results.
