Helical Wire
Steps of Welded Gabion Installation:
Step 1, Let two adjacent gabion panels be perpendicular to the ground, and the two sides should be at a 90 degrees angle as below picture. Prepare the helical wire to align with the panels joint, and adjust the angle to make the helical wire falls by itself.
Step 2, Move the connected panels to the bottom panel, align to the joints, insert the right helical wire. Or install the surrounding mesh panels first, then assemble the bottom. Could turn over the connected panels direction, so the helical wire will be falls by it's own weight.
Step 3, Continue to install the side panel, because the weight of mesh panels is increased at this time, it is not suitable for one person to move, so flip the cage 90 degrees and manually thread the helical wire.
Step 4, Install the diaphragm, prepare the right helical wire according to the diaphragm edge length. Could turned 90 degrees of the bottom, then insert the helical wire by hand. The vertical part directly thread the helical wire.
Step 5, Installed the last side panels.
Step 6, Put the gabion stiffener / bracing wire to the right point(the example case is too small and don't need the stiffener).
Step 7, Put kinds of stones or other decorative material in to the basket. To ensure the basket flat and beautiful, it is required to installed parallel reinforcement bars outside of the cage. Then installed the lid at last.
Step 8, The installation is complete.
