| High Light | 55 inch transparent LCD display ,double sided digital signage screen ,indoor shop window display | ||
A shop window faces people moving past the storefront, but it also sits beside customers already inside. A 55-inch double-sided transparent LCD window display can use those two directions deliberately: the street-facing side earns attention and identifies the campaign, while the interior-facing side supports browsing, wayfinding or a second stage of the same story.
This is not simply a duplicated screen. The two audiences stand at different distances, move at different speeds and need different information. Treating each side as a separate communication surface produces a more useful installation and prevents a long indoor message from becoming an unreadable outdoor loop.
Stand across the corridor, at the store entrance and beside the proposed installation. Record the angle, distance, dwell time and background visible from each position. Window mullions, mannequins, shelving and daylight can all interrupt the image. The transparent effect depends on what viewers see through the display, so the surrounding scene is part of the media plan.
For the exterior side, use a short headline, recognizable product silhouette and a clear campaign cue. For the interior side, allow more detail: collection notes, service information, directions or a QR continuation. Important text should not overlap the busiest parts of the physical background.
The two sides may carry different files while still feeling related. A fashion launch might show bold motion to the street and quieter styling details inside. A cosmetics store might advertise a new line outward and explain ingredients inward. Synchronization can be useful for a coordinated reveal, but it should not be assumed until the player and control architecture are confirmed.
Plan dayparts as well. Morning commuter traffic, daytime shoppers and evening passersby may respond to different pacing. Content scheduling, remote updates and proof-of-play requirements should be included when selecting the playback system. If the sides must always change together, that workflow belongs in the acceptance test.

Storefront glass adds reflections and can reduce perceived contrast. Direct sun can also make transparent LCD content difficult to see and increase heat inside the installation. The site should be reviewed at the brightest and darkest operating periods, not only under showroom lighting. A sample test in the actual window is the most reliable way to judge visibility.
Confirm ventilation clearances, local electrical access, glass spacing and maintenance reach. Do not block an existing window ventilation path or emergency route. If sunlight exposure is significant, the supplier and installer should agree on thermal management and whether the selected display is appropriate for that position.
Before opening day, verify each side from its real viewing route. Check that content is assigned correctly, orientation is right, text remains readable and the transparent areas reveal the intended merchandise. Run both loops long enough to expose synchronization, restart or scheduling problems. Store staff should know how to select content, recover playback and report a fault.
For a project quotation, provide window drawings, photographs from both directions, operating hours, sunlight conditions, desired resolution, content-control method and mounting preference. These details let ZXTLCD define the enclosure and player arrangement around the storefront rather than treating it as a generic freestanding display.

No. Independent or coordinated playback may be planned, subject to the final player and signal configuration.
Visibility and temperature depend on the panel and site. A daylight test and thermal review are recommended before approval.
It can add motion and information while preserving views, but campaign goals and environmental conditions should determine the media mix.
Share the installation drawing, physical product dimensions, viewing distance, content plan, interaction method, player preference and delivery destination. ZXTLCD can use these details to confirm the display configuration, cabinet structure and integration scope for your project.
