Manufactured with a standard capacitor discharge weld tip and flange, the Capacitor Discharge Weld Pins is popularly used as an insulation fastener, in combination with self locking washers (or "speed clips") to secure insulating material.
We recommend Capacitor Discharge Pins for welding to clean surfaces. For difficult surfaces the "Power Base" Weld Pin is designed to weld through paint and rust to eliminate grinding of the base metal. Both are available in various diameters and lengths.
