An immersion suit, (or more specifically an immersion survival suit) is a special type of

waterproof dry suit that protects the wearer from hypothermia from immersion in cold water,

after abandoning a sinking or capsized vessel, especially in the open ocean.

They usually have built-in feet (boots), and a hood, and either built-in gloves or watertight

wrist seals.

The products meet the requirements of the international convention for safety of life at sea

and rescue equipment (LSA) rules. Heat-insulating property: after immersion in the 0℃--+2℃

still water for 6 hours, the body temperatures shall fall 2℃ below the normal level.

Applied environment:                                                                 

It is prepared for the operation persons on the ship or on the platform over the

sea as a special overcoat for life-saving and thermal insulation when they are in

the cold -water area or in the adverse circumstances.

It is made of waterproof cloth and thermal insulation floating materials.

Main performance:                                                                     

    ·Taking in water property: The person who wears the lifejacket floats in water

     for an hour, then the water inside the lifejacket is not less than 200 grams.

    ·Floating property: The person who wears the lifejacket can turn over to the

     face up on the water in 5 seconds, and his mouth and nose are above the

     surface of water 120mm. After floating in the water for 24 hour, its buoyancy

      loses less than 5%.

    ·Thermo stability: The person who wears the lifejacket floats in the still water

     at the temperature 0~2°C for 6 hours, his body temperature falls less than 2°C

     and the temperature of his hands, feet and skin falls less than 10°C.

A.An SCBA is the choice when dealing with any oxygen deficient

   atmosphere that is IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health),

   or any environment that is unknown or has unknown levels of

   contaminants. This is possible because the wearer carries their

   own supply of breathable air.

A.For a stand alone SCBA, you need a minimum of 30-minute rated life.

   This does not apply if the SCBA is equipped with an airline to operate 

    in the positive pressure mode. Smaller time rated cylinders can then be used.
