The EC103xx and SxSx Series are sensitive SCRs designed for phase control applications. These unidirectional switches are easily triggered by low currents from sources like sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors, making them ideal for heating and motor speed controls. They offer voltage capabilities up to 600V and surge capabilities up to 20A. Typical applications include capacitive discharge systems for strobe lights, gas engine ignition, and controls for power tools and household appliances.
